How to efficiently manage web3 leads who responded to Telegram cold outreach?

Managing hundreds of prospects on Telegram can be quite stressful for Founders/Sales Managers. After a while, you may get a FOMO for worrying whether you sent important information to everyone or missed someone out. I've been there myself at some point when I started as a web3 sales manager years before Spredo.


What helped me is realizing that the sales funnel is dynamic and never static and that you can move pieces across the funnel back and forth infinitely. Your sales funnel is your community of potential clients, they're brewing in it. Come up with certain triggers for upgrading or downgrading a lead from one level to another inside the funnel.


Part 1: Web3 Sales Process

Usually, you need to work with no more than 3 tools if you're a sales team in web3:


(1) A good automated Telegram cold outreach tool like Spredo

(2) a Telegram App

(3) A CRM of choice.


You start the sales process with outbound and inbound activities, such as automated Telegram cold outreach. After someone responds to your message on Telegram, they now become your lead.


When you use Spredo, you have a multitude of tools to manage these leads, such as follow-ups, messaging an alternative POC, booking a call, or creating a group. You first start moving leads inside the sales funnel on the platform by updating their priorities and statuses onto more and less important ones.


If a lead wants to continue the conversation inside a group and add their team, it's a good trigger to move them further down the funnel and add your personal Telegram account into the group, as well as involve your CEO/other important POC.


Finally, if they're interested enough to have a call with you, I recommend moving them straight into the CRM along with leads obtained from any other channels. After a lead closes, you keep and manage them inside the CRM, until their status change.

Part 2: Dynamic Sales Funnel vs Statis Sales Funnel

In the whole process described above, it is of essence to realize that once a lead has landed on the sales funnel it shall traverse it up and down freely as long as necessary. That movement in reality is not one-directional as most traditional sources teach.


If a lead is interested and satisfies particular triggers, move them down and close deals, but, if they get cold and you do not manage to schedule a call straight away, do not despair:


  1. Move them from "Hot" to "Cold".

  2. Run weekly/monthly announcements for "Cold" leads. Send them the latest features, news, and use cases of your product.

  3. Move the leads who react from "Cold" back to "Hot" and so on.

  4. Run similar announcements/campaigns for leads on all stages of the funnel.


Leads in your sales funnel are your web3 community of potential clients. Entertain them, warm them up, and send them good wishes for Christmas and New Year. Do all of these things and see your revenues increase!

Part 3: Telegram Folders

Telegram folders are an incredibly powerful tool, perhaps still underestimated by many. The folders are separate unique stages of your dynamic sales funnel. I recommend precisely mimicking the sales funnel stages in your Telegram folders. Move leads back and forth depending on their interest and status.
